Carriers should not have to choose between growth and operational control.
Eric Carp’s work in group annuities convinced him that pension risk transfer needed a new kind of operating platform – one that could overcome fragmentation and transform how carriers bid, onboard, and manage their books. After three decades across insurance, operations, and technology, he saw firsthand the limitations of fragmented processes and the opportunity to create a better model. That conviction became the basis for Xterion.
To make Xterion a reality, Eric joined forces with his brother, Steve Carp. Steve brought deep financial-services leadership and a proven ability to build businesses, drive growth, and scale operations. Together, they set out to create the purpose-built operating platform the PRT market was missing.
