About Xterion
Xterion was founded on a simple premise: carriers should not have to choose between growth and operational control.
Eric Carp's work in group annuities convinced him that pension risk transfer needed a new kind of operating platform - one that could overcome fragmentation and apply the right technology to transform how carriers bid, onboard, and manage their books. After three decades working across carriers, consultancies, and software companies, Eric knew he could deliver it. That conviction became the basis for Xterion.
To turn that vision into a scalable business, Eric joined forces with his brother, Steve Carp. Eric brought deep group annuity expertise and decades of experience building and leading complex insurance technology platforms; Steve brought deep financial-services leadership and a proven ability to build businesses, drive growth, and scale operations. Together, they founded Xterion to create the purpose-built PRT operating platform they believed the market was missing.
Xterion provides a standardized framework that is highly configurable to align with each carrier's specific operating requirements. Within that framework, automation and AI are applied in controlled, carrier-approved ways, enabling experienced teams to work with greater speed, consistency, and insight. The result is a more connected operating model that allows teams to execute more efficiently and compete more effectively.
Eric has spent thirty years in group insurance, including the past five focused on group annuities and pension risk transfer. His career spans technology and business leadership roles at carriers, consultancies, and software companies, where he helped build underwriting, policy administration, analytics, and onboarding platforms.
Steve brings more than thirty years of experience in financial services and fintech. He has served on the leadership teams of two successful startups, spent a decade at Barclays in senior leadership roles, and most recently served as CFO and COO of Mercury Financial. At Barclays, he launched the online deposits business that became a $20B+ franchise.

Privacy
Xterion LLC (“Xterion,” “we,” “us”) operates this website. This policy explains what we collect here, why, and what we do with it. It covers xterion.ai only — not the Xterion platform itself, whose handling of carrier and plan data is governed by the agreement with that carrier.
Information you send us. If you use the contact form, we collect the name, work email address, company, and message you enter. All four fields are required to submit the form. If you email or call us directly, we receive whatever you choose to include.
Technical information. Like any website, ours is served over the internet, so our hosting provider processes standard request data — IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp — to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
What we do not collect. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, embeds no third-party trackers or social pixels, and loads no fonts or assets from outside our own domain. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not track you across other sites.
We use what you send us to respond to your enquiry and to continue that conversation — nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list on the strength of a contact-form submission.
The site and the contact form run on Amazon Web Services in the United States. A form submission is validated and delivered as email to an Xterion inbox; it is not written to a database or a marketing platform. We use no other processors for this site. Because we operate from the United States, information you send us is processed there.
Contact-form enquiries live in our email as ordinary business correspondence. We keep them while the conversation is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, then delete them, unless a longer period is needed for a contract or a legal obligation. Hosting request logs are retained on a short operational cycle and are not linked back to form submissions.
The site is served only over HTTPS. Form submissions travel encrypted and are stored encrypted at rest by our provider, and access to the receiving inbox is limited to the Xterion staff who need it. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information — or any plan participant data — through this form.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Email info@xterion.ai and we will act on the request. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under applicable privacy law; we honour those requests on the same footing.
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If this policy changes we will update it here and revise the date above.
